These chemicals are known as cannabinoids simply because they are relevant to chemicals located in the marijuana plant. Because of this similarity, synthetic cannabinoids are occasionally misleadingly identified as “synthetic cannabis” (or “bogus weed”), and they are often promoted as “Safe and sound,” lawful alternatives to that drug.
